Welcome back to school after our short half term holiday. We are looking forward to a busy term. This term we are continuing with our theme of Asia, looking at Japan. On Wednesday we are having in a visitor who lives in Japan and have prepared some questions to ask him about what life is like in Japan. We are also hoping to learn some basic Japanese.

Rangoli and Alpana Inspired Artwork
We finished off our batik designs and then painted them. Some of us had a go at other techniques to recreate our design such as wax crayon and a colour wash or using chalk outside.
Hairspray Workshop
On Thursday we enjoyed a visit from staff and students from SWRA who came to lead a workshop. We will be going to see their performance so they came and taught us part of a song and a dance. We also had a go at acting out a scene.
